Join this three-session workshop series to get an introduction to using gold leaf and gold paint in your calligraphy. We’ll discuss using gesso and miniatum as a medium for adhering gold leaf, as well as some alternative techniques using gold paint. Gold is an elegant and eye-catching addition to your calligraphic pieces. If you’ve admired the raised gilding seen in illuminated manuscripts and wondered how the process is done, this is the workshop for you.
Tuesdays, May 17, May 24, and June 7, 2022, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., US Eastern time.
After you register, you will receive a separate email with log-in information for the online sessions.
