Bestiary Painting Online Workshop

Event Date:

01/11/2022

Event Time:

5:00 pm

Event Location:

Virtual

This is a terrific workshop for all skill levels and, although closely associated with calligraphy, doesn’t involve any lettering. Bestiaries are medieval books containing pictures and stories about animals – many that actually existed, and some comically charming ones about some that didn’t. Participants can select from swan, dog, cat, nightingale, panther, or elephant bestiaries, and will be walked through the process of transferring the line art and painting these adorable miniatures. Tuesdays, January 11 and January 18, 2022, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., US Eastern time.

After you register, you will receive a separate email with log-in information for the online sessions.
