This will be a really fun workshop and will help you zoom-in on fitting text into a predetermined area. We’ll work on creating thumbnail sketches and getting creative with a 6” x 6” layout. Designing a smaller layout has its own set of challenges to consider during the design phase. When complete, small pieces can have a powerful presence with their tightly focused energy and streamlined design. This workshop also provides skills for calligraphers designing book pages. Bring a quote you’d like to work with (minimum of 10 words, maximum of 100 words). This is a good resource for finding quotes from selected authors: https://www.brainyquote.com/authors.
After you register, you will receive a separate email with log-in information for the online sessions.
